Five free Paranormal Romances for your kindle.

BOOK ONE INSIGHT SERIES

Some say that dreams are the doorway to the soul. Willow Haywood is no stranger to that doorway. Each night she shares a blissful, silent dream with a stunning blue-eyed boy. With each new moon she is haunted by a painful nightmare shared with a different boy, who’s always hidden by the shadows.

In her waking hours she must battle her sixth sense. The one that allows her to feel others emotions as if they were her own. This insight is exhausting and frustrating causing her to draw inward, only trusting her family and few close friends. Oddly, this sense also attracts ghostly images that seem to appear out of nowhere. With a touch, they take her to wherever they may be, allowing her to change their emotion. This alone would cause most to go insane, but Willow filters her aggression by painting, capturing the emotion she changed.
One August night a nightmare came days after the new moon. In this dream the shadowed boy marked her wrist with star, leaving her father no choice but to share a family secret that would tie all of the odd attributes of Willow’s life together. Now, she has no choice but to outrun the fate that is closing in around her.

In an attempt to lure her, the shadowed figure captures her closest friends. In order to save them, she must weave through broken myths, half truths, and the undeniable power of the Zodiac. With each step she takes Willow comes to realize that she has lived before, her path is one that she chose, and this trial is simply the beginning.

5 star review The Sincerest Form of Flattery (The Statford Chronicles) By John Walker

The Sincerest Form of Flattery (The Statford Chronicles)The Sincerest Form of Flattery by John Walker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Tom Statford is a bad ass, plain and simple. He's an awesome private detective but is also "The Keeper" an impartial mortal representative who's job is to insure that no one god would be better than the other. Yeah that's right, Gods. You know, Zeus, Hades, Thor, Poseidon, Ect. Like I said. Tom is a bad ass. His best friend's a ghost, He has a girlfriend that did him dirty and now wont take no for an answer, Gods and Goddesses that are not only mostly assholes but can't seem to behave themselves, a friend in the department who brings him in every time there is a weird murder and and now, some psycho is going around dressing up people like Gods and Goddesses and killing them in strange ritualistic kinds of ways. Is this guy your average everyday nut job or is this case starting to slide over to "His side of weird?" All Tom really wants is a whole bottle of aspirin and a three day nap. Unfortunately if he can't solve this case, we might not be here in three days.

I gave this 5 stars because it was so entertaining from start to finish! I cant wait to see what Statford does next!!!!

A Special Thank You for a special lady!

So as Legacy Forgotten is doing very well and is getting great reviews, I have one person in mind that I would really like to thank. When I worked at the call center, There was a lady that sat beside me. She read Romance Novels, all kinds. Now I did not read romance one bit. Had never attempted. One day while I was waiting for calls, and really bored, she offered me a book. I told her no that I did not read those kinds of books. She asked what kind I normally read and I told her mysteries or paranormal books. She gave me Dark Price By Christine Fehan. I immediately fell in love with the Carpathians and fell into a world I had only ever imagined. I knew then, what I wanted to be, no. What I was supposed to be doing. So thanks Diane Stanton for introducing me to the inspiration that I needed to get my but in gear!!! Love ya woman!!!

Meet the Men of Legacy Forgotten Or at least the way I imagined them as I wrote them. LOL

Kenneth

Meaning: Born of Fire
Born in : Madrid, Spain
Age: 126 yrs old
Kenneth has been a Vampire long enough to know that he is what he is. Plain and Simple. He doesn't make excuses. He likes what he is. He is tough as nails with a chip on his shoulder the size of Texas. He does what he wants when he wants and revels in the fact that he does not answer to anyone. Especially some nosy Mortal cop that wont mind her own damn business.

Collin
Meaning: Victorious People

Born: Miami, Florida
Age: 29
Collin works with Ailis. He has been in love with her for years. He
would do anything to get her to notice him as more than a colleague.

William

Meaning: Brave Warrior

Born in : Madrid Spain
Age: 84
William is Kenneth's second in command. He is there with him through thick and thin. He is indeed brave beyond his young years. ( young for a Vampire) He is not sure on which side he stands. He has been taught to hate the witches at all costs but he is loyal to Kenneth and until he sees reason to sever that loyalty, he will continue to be.

Markus

Meaning: From The God Mars
Born In: Bath England
Age: 45
Markus is the second in command to Monolo. He is even more evil than his master and will stop at nothing to rule the earth. Including having his wife and children murdered.

Monolo
Meaning: God is with us.
Born: Bath England
Age: 1,455 years old
Monolo is evil, ruthless and on a mission. He has been trying to combine the two races for over 1,000 years and has just about driven himself mad with the need to be " The One" to lift the curse placed upon their species by the goddess in 537 A.D. He cares not what methods he must uses or who he hurts in the process. He is fighting for a greater cause than any human or witch life is worth. He's found the one Witch who he is sure is the key. He'll stop at nothing to get her to join him.

" I want that f****g witch. Alive! " Snippet of Legacy Forgotten by Nicole Hill

Monolo was furious. He slammed his hand into the wall again, this time leaving a larger hole than the last. How could this have happened? He thought to himself. He could not believe this. He'd protected the women and insured their location was known only to a few among his men. He had a spy and when he found out who it was, he would surely deal viciously with him. Just then there was a knock at the door.

“Enter.” He barked at the closed door. The door opened and Markus, his second walked in. Marilyn was with him. Monolo raised an eyebrow.

“I found her hiding at the camp.” My lord, “She was the only one that did not escape.” Markus said.

“Sit” Monolo growled at her. She obeyed. He looked at Marcus.

“Leave us.” Marcus inclined his head and headed for the door.

After he Marcus left, Monolo turned his attention to Marilyn.

“Why is it,” He started. “You are the only one that did not escape?” He asked her.

“I hid my lord.” She said with her eyes to the floor. He walked over to the couch and sat beside her.

“Why did you not leave when you had the chance?” He asked.

She shifted in her seat. “I don't know my lord.” She answered. “The others showed up and there was screaming and fighting everywhere. I was frightened. I did not know what they wanted. I figured the devils that you know was better that the one you don't.”

Monolo placed his forefinger under her chin and raised her face up so that he could see her eyes. He searched them for a long moment. He could not see a lie in them.

“You see me as the Devil?” He asked surprised that her opinion mattered.

Her eyes widened. “No, Not exactly my lord.” She answered. “I don't know what you wanted us for but I know that you never hurt me personally. I did hear what was done to some of the other women and yes on that account you are as evil as the devil himself.

Maybe if you had come and explained to us what you wanted,” She started. “It would not have had to be this way.”

Monolo was shocked. He did not expect such a small person to speak to him in this manner. He also did not expect to feel any remorse for what he had been forced to do over the centuries. He quickly hardened himself.

"It is not up to you to tell me what is right and what is wrong.” He snapped at her. He stood and called to Marcus into the room. “Take Marilyn to a room and then come back down here.”

Marcus inclined his head and left the room. A few minutes later he returned. “What shall we do with the girl?” He asked.

“Nothing at the moment,” Monolo said “Just leave her there. Right now I want you to get every contact that we have. Every witch we can get on our side. Every Vampire, person or thing. I want that son of a bitch dead and I want that fucking witch. Alive.” He ended.

Character Interview with Kenneth and Ailis from Legacy Forgotten By Nicole Hill

Character Interview with Kenneth and Ailis

Hey guys and welcome to Good Morning World. I'm Quinn and thanks for getting up extremely early in order to join us for this special Interview with Kenneth Nunez and Her Highness, Ailis, The queen of Avalon!

Ailis answered with,: " Please Quinn, It's just Ailis."

"Ailis, Kenneth, It's so nice to have you. " Quinn told her with a smile.

"Thank You for having us." Kenneth and Ailis answered in unison before looking at each other and laughing.

Quinn chuckled to herself as well. " By now, everyone either saw or heard about you interrupting all television stations earth wide last year and announcing that the world famous book series The Avalon Legacies Written by Nicole Hill is actual fact and Nicole Hill is actually you. If they haven't, they need to bust out from under that rock and get with the program." Chuckle to herself. " So let's skip that part right now and get to the obvious question on everyone's mind right now. Why is it, we are up at 3:30 am for an interview? I was told it was because you had to get back to Avalon before sunlight. I thought you were Avalonian now, I thought the goddess fixed that."

Kenneth cleared his throat. "Oh yes. I am quite Avalonian now. As long as I'm in Avalon. Here there is not a lot of magic left and the goddess' reach no longer extends this far. So when we cross over, we go back to what we were. " He Answered.

"Oh I get it. “ Quinn stated. So lets get back to the book. These events started in what year? "

"1989" Ailis answered.

"Ailis, you were a homicide detective for MIA PD. How old were you? " Quinn asked.

"Almost 22.” Ailis answered. “ I think that's right because I graduated the academy in 1987."

"You excelled within the department pretty fast. “ Quinn noted. “ Did you always have powers or were they a complete surprise? "

“ There were always certain things I could do with my grandmother.” Ailis replied. “ Running really fast, being able to shoot very well. Mental communication, invisibility, those sort of things. “ She went on to explain.

"I know, you probably get asked to go invisible but I'm not going to. Some would think it was TV magic anyway. Wouldn't want you to waste any juice." Quinn told her with a chuckle.

"Well thanks for that." Ailis said with her own small chuckle.

" So Kenneth. “ Quinn looked at him, switching verbal targets. “ You met Ailis because she was investigating a string of unsolved murders that you were committing. What do you have to say about that? "

Kenneth shifted in his chair for a few seconds before sitting up straight and pasting an all to appealingly innocent smile upon his face. " I have no idea what you mean. " He said as he leans in and looked deeply into her eyes. " Ask the next question... Quinn" He told her in the greatest bedroom voice imitation she had ever heard.

Quinn rolled her eyes. " You can kill the theatrics. That crap doesn't work on me. " She stated plainly.

Ailis busted out laughing.

Kenneth sat back in his chair with a perplexed look before glaring over at Ailis who was still rolling with laughter in her chair. " Okay. Fine. I killed them but one was a serial rapist, another was a child molester. SKUM" He spat and shrugged his shoulders as if it were no big deal.

Ailis rolled her eyes. " Don't bother 22 years and I still can't get him to see that he did anything wrong.

Quinn looks at the camera. " What do you think world? Did they deserve to die? Or should Kenneth have let the police do their job? Go to our website and vote now! "

Kenneth rolled his eyes " The police. Do their job? Yeah. OK. I'll hold my breath."

Ailis pinches his thigh and glares at him.

“Ow. Sorry.” Kenneth says as he rolls his eyes.

Quinn chuckles. "OK guys. So I won't go to far into the story but obviously, Ailis you have some very interesting ancestors who left you a nearly impossible, How should I call it? Honey do list. "

Ailis snorts. " That's the understatement of the century. "

Kenneth reaches over and squeezes her hand.

" And what about The Avalon Legacies? These events started happening in 1989. Why bring it all out now? Also, why the deception? Why tell the world about the almost destruction and enslavement of our planet through a work of fiction and using a pen name? Why use Nicole Hill? If you were going to let the world know, why not use your own name the whole time? Quinn Questioned.

“We knew a few years ago that The Goddess’ powers here on earth were diminishing and they were dying out fast. All Gods have vast power over their own realms but the power they can wield in another gods realm is solely based upon the number of followers that particular God or Goddess has.” Ailis explained.

“ It is a lot for most people to process you understand. “ Quinn Started. “ I mean, we already know that Avalon truly exists as our government has been there and assured us of this fact but Gods, Goddesses, King Arthur and even Morgan Le Fey were all true according to you.” She finished.

“We are not here trying to get the world to believe us.” Kenneth told her. “ We will save you all regardless or weather or not you believe us. Weather or not any of you help us, we will still figure out how to beat this. We are just here to give you a heads up and see if there are any of you who have what will be required in the days. Months and years ahead.” He finished.

“ Point taken.” Quinn stated. “Now about the third book, which I'm told is in the collaboration stage, These events have happened as well. Correct?"

"That's correct.” Kenneth answered. “ These however are more recent events. I can't tell you any specifics, Ailis would have my head if I let her cats out of any of their bags. Or whatever that crazy things she always says is. "

Ailis. Snickered. " It's let the cat out of the bag. Dear. You will have to forgive him Quinn. He's older than god."

Kenneth glared at Ailis. "I will get you back for that later. Wife"

Ailis: Laughed right in his face.

" Okay. So I've also heard talk that there may be more supernatural creature out there to worry about." Quinn fished for some info.

" My you are well inf..." Kenneth Started before stopping abruptly when Ailis elbowed him in the rib.

" Oh. Sorry Love. Cats.” Kenneth told Ailis. “Very cleaver Quinn. Nice try." He glared at Quinn.

“ Okay. Okay. So lets talk about the question that you have sidestepped a few times already and I would like an answer before you go. Why release the story now? Why tell the world after so many years? You have half the world who believe you and are grateful to you for what you did and the other half who think you are a couple of loons. Why do it? " Quinn asked. “ What is it you want from us?”

" Well, that part about half the people not believing us is exactly the reason we are doing this. And exactly the reason we came on your show today.” Ailis started glancing at Kenneth. “ You see. As we said earlier, The goddess' reach does not extend to earth. Avalon is for all intensive purposes, Another dimension. After we "Came out" so to speak last year, there were those in politics who demanded visits, just to make sure that earth was safe from us. It takes great power to keep the veil lifted. Power from both sides of the veil."

" Unfortunately,. “ Kenneth Interrupted. “ There is not as much power on this side anymore. As people stopped believing in The Goddess and her power, it faded from your world. Very few humans still posses this power. If we can not create more power on this side of the veil, we will no longer be able to keep it open. We will have to separate Avalon from earth once more and permanently this time."

"So that means no more visits from either side. “ Quinn Asked. “ Total blackout? "

"Exactly. " Kenneth answered.

"We just feel that earth lost Avalon once already and we really don't want to see that happen again. " Ailis explained. “ We don’t really know what the future will bring but we can assure you that whatever comes our way, we will be stronger together than we will be apart.” She finished.

"So what is it that you need from the world? " Quinn asked.

" We are asking that anyone with any powers contact the number at the bottom of the screen. We could really use all the help we could get in sustaining the stability of the gate. You can do this anonymously if you like as well. "

"And that's it? Your sure? There is nothing else you are not telling us? " Quinn asked suspiciously.

"We are telling you everything we have been told. " Kenneth told her.

"Are you sure the goddess has told you everything? " Quinn quizzed them.

"See that's the thing about the goddess. She kinda works on a need to know basis." Kenneth answered.

“ As of now, all we know is that the power is fading and in order to maintain the veil, we need more.” Ailis told her.

“ That seems frustrating. Well, I guess we'll just have to trust you guys. " Quinn said as she looked at the camera.

"Well, you heard it here first world. "To believe or not to believe. That's is the question. Is the fate of the world now depending on weather or not we " believe" ? Or is this just simply an attempt to keep the gate open to earth? I guess we'll wait and see. For those few of you left out there that haven't read Legacy Forgotten; The first installment of the Avalon Legacies or Legacy Foretold; The second in the series, check them out on Amazon and be waiting for the third installment; entitled: Legacy Forsaken. I know I will be. Thanks for joining so early and I'll see ya tomorrow at the regularly scheduled time of 8am. "Ailis: "We just feel that earth lost Avalon once already and we really don't want to see that happen again. "

Legacy Forgotten Trailer:

Good explanation on how to properly tag a book on AMAZON for Authors and Readers!

What is tagging?

Authors: When tagging a book, you are letting Amazon know what search words that a reader might type in will help them find your book above all the others.  For example: My book has Vampires, Witches, Merlin, King Arthur, a War and other things as well but the point is those are the words you will type in. If you have never done this for your book, you are saying that there are no search words that would help others to find your book. Which means it ends up on page 200 of the search results. Who ever gets to page 200?! You can add these tags by pulling up your books amazon sales page and scrolling almost to the bottom where you will see the word tags and a box to type the search words in one at a time. The more readers that click to agree with your tags the higher up on the search list your book goes.

Readers: When you tag a book on Amazon, you are either assigning keywords that apply to the book or agreeing about keywords that already exist. If you scroll down ... and down ... and down some more, you'll come to a section that looks a little like this:

Simply check mark all the boxes and then click "Agree with these tags?"

Why?

Because this will help the author sell more books. Here's an example of how it works: if a book is tagged enough times with the keyword Fantasy, that book will be more likely to show up when someone searches for Fantasy books.  Got it? Good. Now get out there and tag your books or tag others!

I loved this book. It kept me on my toes the whole way through. Grace Brisbane is not having a good life at the moment. Her father died when she was young. Her mother remarried a man who already had a son. He died a few years ago and now Graces mother is ill as well leaving Grace to figure out the household as well as take care of her younger sister. To top it all of her step brother who has always made fun of Grace and her sister Patients has nearly spent every penny the family has on drinking and gambling. Grace now needs to figure out how to support her family before everyone in the ton finds out how destitute they have really become. Her plan, she's going to seduce her step brothers best friend the handsome and rich Earl of Rodrick. She's been in love with him for years. The only problem is he detests virgins. Her step brother tricks her into visiting a male brothel were she meets Alex. He is charming and charismatic and she knows the he will have no problem teaching her how to seduce her earl.
Alex was blackmail by Lady Lavender when he was a young man to work at Lavender Hills? He is as much a prisoner here as is any man in a jail. The lady knows secrets about his families past that could destroy them all. So he stays for their sake and not his own. The only trouble is after so many years of doing this everyday, he is tired of it and wants nothing else to do with it. Until he meets Grace, that is. She is an innocent virgin which he has grown tired of but at the same time she is smart and witty and does not seems to like him in the least. Challenge accepted. So what happens when he falls for her? Why would a woman like Grace want anything to do with him, outside of using him so she can land her earl? Even if she did, it's not like he was a free man.

I gave this book 5 stars because I was so entertained the whole way through. I will however admit to some biased. I love Lori! I have never read a bad book by this author. I have a list of a few authors that I have read enough of their books to know when I see their name, I don't even have to read the back. Just get it! Lori is on that list.

Teeny Tiny Teaser of A Gentleman's Luck By Nicole Hill

William held his breath as Princess Na-Lisa was escorted to the elaborately set table in the sitting room of what was the largest siute of  rooms he had ever seen. She was wearing the usual female garb for a woman in India. Witch meant that all he could see was the most perfect set of perfectly ocean green eyes he'd ever had the pleasure to look into. He brushed that thought aside. Eyes where the least of his worries. He was going to have to sleep with this woman and wanted to be able to see what was hidden under all of that fabric. Please at least let her be decent looking. He sent up into the cosmos.

Legacy Foretold " A poem that came to me and this is how I came up with the story line for Legacy Foretold Book 2 of The Avalon Legacies."

When the two species have finally become one.
The child must pass trial else all will be undone.

Within a test of no small measure,
The child will be given the choice of a treasure.

The road may be dark and and more than dreary,
but the child must not stop no matter how weary.

Be careful the deceiver that lies in wait,
Wanting the child to consume the bait.

Mind the Viper that stays at rest,
Waiting for the chance to administer the test.

The child must move forward ever mindful of the goal,
Always trust in thyself and listen to thy soul.

5 star reveiw. Sail with me By Chelsea Heights.

Sail with Me by Chelsea Heights
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Sail with me was interesting from page one. I immediately like the heroine, Delaney. She is a strong willed police detective who knows her own mind. She is tough and most important in my mind for what completes a strong heroine, she is smart. There's nothing worse that wasting my time reading about a twit. She is the only woman officer in a notoriously redneck police department. I live in a town like that so I instantaneously felt a connection to her. She has recently started working on an old case about a baby that died shortly after birth and the body went missing.( I know bizarre and interesting.) She decides to call in the original FBI agent that worked the case.
I fell in love with Jake Thrasher all at once. Even his name ( Jake Thrasher) inspires the image of strength and sexuality. He's strong, courageous, good at his job and not to mention gorgeous. Also a bit of a playboy. Kind of reminded me of Agent Boothe ( David Boreanaz ) from the show Bones. I could almost envision him wearing that cocky belt buckle. The case of Andrew O' Sullivan ( the missing body) has bothered him for years. Officially it was ruled that the body was disposed of properly but due to the craziness at the ER that day, it was not noted. He has never believed that and neither does Delaney. Together, they take on a case that brings them on a whirlwind ride of adventure landing them overseas Where they not only solve the case but find an everlasting love in one another.

I'm giving this book 5 of 5 stars because it was just so much fun!

Just a little teaser #RT from Legacy Forgotten By Nicole Hill

Kenneth could hold out no longer. He was doing fine until he saw her fangs unsheathe themselves. Now the only thought running through his head was the way it would feel if she used them on him.

Just when he was going to pull away, Ailis grabbed his arms. Her eyes were blood red and her voice was deep from her arousal. “If you leave me like this right now, I swear to god I will kill you myself.” She growled at him.

5 of 5 starts! The hand of God By Tim Miller

format Kindle Edition (edit)
review This book was totally different from what I thought. Pastor Charlie simms Is the hero. He " Thinks " he is " The Hand Of God. " but discovers that in reality, he is a serial Killer who is also part of an old, thought to be extinct race of half humans/ half angels. Throughout the book it turns out that he's not really been getting orders from god. It also turns out that god tried to wipe out his race hundreds of years before because he deemed them an abomination. Even though he is a serial Killer, You can't really hate him because he is killing bad people. Right? He also has some pretty nifty powers. It also turns out that Jesus is back for his second coming. And all of us who have read our bible know what that means. He learns that The savior isn't exactly what they teach in church. He is really kind of a prick. He also finds that Lucifer might have gotten a really bad rap. Charlie has to team up with Lucifer in order to stop the end of days. I'm telling you, This script is totally flipped. By the end, I was rooting for " The Bad Guys" Imagine! The fate of the world resting on Charlie the serial killer and his pal, The Devil!
